How to Disable Startup Programs on
Windows 11 in the Settings App

show you how to disable startup programs in Windows 11, so you can speed up
your computer and have a smoother start to your day. Let's get started!"
There are two convenient ways to stop an application from
running on startup on Windows 11: the Task Manager and the Startup Apps page of
the Settings app.
Task Manager

Open the Task Manager. There are a few ways to
do this, but one of the quickest methods is by pressing 'Ctrl + Shift + Esc' on
your keyboard. You can also press 'Ctrl + Alt + Delete' and then choose 'Task
Manager' from the options."

"Once Task Manager is open, you'll see a
few tabs at the left side of the wimdow. Click on the 'Startup' tab. This tab
will show you a list of all the programs that are set to launch when your
computer starts."

Now, take a look at the list of startup
programs. You'll see the program name, its status (enabled or disabled).

computer, simply select it and click the 'Disable' button at the top right of

Settings App
You can also use the Settings app to remove programs from the startup
list. To launch the Settings app, search "Settings" in the Start Menu
or press Windows+i.
Navigate to Apps and the click on the Startup, and it will show
you a list of all the programs that are set to launch when your computer starts. You can sort the
apps by name, status and startup impact. click the toggle next to the app to
disable or enable it.
